Dr. Taraneh Jafari Behbahani | Flow Assurance and Paraffin Control | Women Researcher Award
Dr. Taraneh Jafari Behbahani | Research Institute of Petroleum Industry | Iran
Dr. Taraneh Jafari Behbahani is an Associate Professor of Chemical Engineering with extensive expertise in chemical process design and flow assurance challenges in the petroleum industry. Her research focuses on understanding, reducing, and preventing wax and asphaltene deposition, as well as gas hydrate formation in oil and gas systems. She has led and contributed to numerous academic and industrial research projects, integrating experimental investigations with advanced theoretical modeling. Her doctoral work introduced a novel multilayer adsorption kinetic model to describe asphaltene deposition in porous media, validated through laboratory data and literature comparisons, resulting in high-impact scientific publications.
