Dr. Peng Du | Liaoning Academy of Materials | China

Dr. Peng Du is a distinguished materials scientist and senior engineer at the Liaoning Academy of Materials, specializing in advanced material characterization and mesoscale mechanical testing. He completed his postdoctoral research at Tsinghua University and earned a Ph.D. from City University of Hong Kong, publishing extensively and securing multiple patents. Peng Du has led major R&D projects, including lunar soil sample analysis for Chang’e missions, and has been recognized with numerous awards for scientific innovation and outstanding contributions. He serves on youth editorial boards for key materials science journals, participates in national talent programs, and is an active member of the Hong Kong Materials Research Society.

Mr. Zewen Zhuo is an engineer specializing in oil and gas storage and transportation, with a focus on the rheology of crude oil. His research investigates efficient pipeline transportation technologies, safety assurance methods, and the optimization of crude oil transport equipment. He has led studies on the coupling mechanism of wax crystal microbehavior and heat transfer in waxy crude oil storage, as well as the nonlinear random growth of wax crystal aggregates in shear flow fields. Zhuo has authored key publications on gel structure destruction, rheo-microscopy measurements, and waxy crude oil microstructure observation, contributing significantly to petroleum engineering research.
