Assoc. Prof. Dr. Xiong Ding is an Associate Professor specializing in sedimentology, reservoir geology, and petroleum geology, with a strong focus on tight sand and carbonate reservoirs in the Sichuan and Ordos Basins. He holds a Ph.D. in Geological Resources and Geological Engineering and completed postdoctoral research in the same field, along with international research experience as a national public-funded visiting scholar in the United States.
